College: As an outside hitter at Florida State, Koenig tallied 262 kills, the most by a freshman at the school since 2006. She led the team in kills (321) and was second in digs (253) as a sophomore. Koenig was named ACC Co-Player of the Year as a junior, again leading the team in kills (374) and ranking second in digs (306). She was an AVCA Third Team All-American her senior season after leading FSU in kills (399) and aces (50). She also set the school record with 10+ kills in 25 consecutive matches. She ended her career with a total of 1,356 kills and 876 digs. Koenig also played 3 seasons of beach volleyball at FSU. In her sophomore season she went 11-8 with four different partners. As a junior she finished 30-8, mostly with Raelyn White, and started the season with 13 consecutive victories. In her senior season on the beach she was 24-9, all alongside Alexis Durish on court 1.
Personal: Koenig led her high school team all four seasons in kills, aces and blocks. She was ranked as the 72nd best player nationally by Prepvolleyball.com.
