Bio Bits

Barry followed in her big sister's (Loren) footsteps, as a setter at Wilson High School. She won the 2005 Junior Olympic Beach Volleyball championship (U-21) in 2005, two years after her sister accomplished that feat, and won the U-18 title in 2004. The Barry sisters played on the beach together at the Mexican Olympic Festival in May 2004. Barry was a member of the only teams to represent the U.S. at the FIVB U-21 Beach Championships in Rio de Janeiro in 2005, the U-18 Championships in Italy in 2004 and U-19 Championships in Paris in 2005.

Her mother, Patti, was a high school setter and has coached junior high volleyball.
