College: Costa began at St. Petersburg Junior College, where she was named the conference Freshman of the Year in 2016 and helped her indoor team to the national tournament. She also played beach volleyball there on court one. Costa then transferred to Stetson, where she played three years of beach volleyball. with her last season there alongside Carly Perales on court one. At Stetson Costa had a 61-25 match record, finishing with the eighth most wins in school history and ninth best winning percentage (.709). Costa played a final season of beach volleyball at Cal Berkely, finishing with a 26-12 record which was the fifth most wins in a season in program history. She also set the school record for most wins at the number one position (20-10 record).
Personal: Costa was Brazil's U19 National Champion in 2015 after being second in 2013.
