College: Plays beach volleyball at Louisiana State. As a freshman finished 27-7 playing alongside Claire Coppola mostly at the No. 1 position, including seven wins over top 10 teams. Her sophomore season Nuss and Coppola went 30-7 at the top position, with five wins against top-10 competition.

Personal: Nuss' grandfather played professional baseball. She has three older siblings, Pete, Jeffrey and Jordan. Nuss was chosen as the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.
