Personal: Fisher bucked a family trend of competing at Cal as her grandfather Jack played rugby and competed in track and field, her father Josh was on the rowing team, her brother BJ played basketball and club lacrosse, and her sister Gia played beach volleyball at Cal. Fisher was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball in high school, and was named MVP of the state championship match as a sophomore, which her team won.
