College: Valenzi played at Penn State, where he was named the conference Freshman of the Year after posting 112 kills and 62 digs.  As a sophomore he had 118 kills, 95 digs and 24 blocks.  During his junior season he had 77 kills, 32 digs and 15 blocks.  As a senior Valenzi recorded 199 kills, 130 digs, 43 blocks and 23 aces.

Personal: Valenzi has one brother, Stephen, and one sister, Rachel. In high school he was the team captain all four years.  His team went undefeated (28-0) and won the state championship during his sophomore campaign.  Valenzi was a three-time First Team All-County player, and his senior season was cancelled due to COVID.
